缺点与不足
IDM作为纯正的HTTP、FTP等基础文件协议下载工具，至今不支持BT和电驴协议。此外，IDM采用单地址多线程下载，下载速度取决于源地址，在理想环境下能发挥速度优势，但对于国内不规范网站（死链较多）则无能为力。由于国内大多下载渠道采用封闭技术，不开放API，IDM对国内网盘或“特别链接”没有特殊优化，略显遗憾。
